From Homeland to Heartland
This summer camp has been more than just an experiment in entrepreneurship — it has been a deeply fulfilling journey of giving back.
As an NRI who spent over two decades building ventures in the U.S., I always felt a calling to return and serve. In our tradition, we call this Vanaprastha Dharma — the stage of life where one turns inward, sharing knowledge and uplifting society.
Through Kaushalm Foundation’s summer entrepreneurship camp, I had the privilege of mentoring 120 rural students from government schools in Rajasthan. Many had never left their villages before, yet they pitched bold ideas, built business models, and stood on stage with the courage of true entrepreneurs.
Watching their transformation was a moment of personal fulfillment. This is not just about startups — it’s about awakening dreams and building confidence where it was once scarce.
Giving back to the land that gave me my roots feels like the most meaningful startup of all.
🚀 Here’s to nurturing change-makers from our villages and creating a new India, one idea at a time.
